Answers To Your Questions

Does chiropractic treatment require a referral from an MD?

Chiropractic appointments do not require a referral from an MD and can be made independently.

What is your treatment philosophy?

I treat the whole person, looking at all aspects of one’s health to determine the best route of treatment. Often time, more than one area must be addressed.

How can a Chiropractor practice Functional Medicine?

Chiropractors (D.C.’s) attend a 4-year post-baccalaureate school where they learn the basic and clinical sciences, just like MD’s, DO’s and ND’s do. There is a greater emphasis on natural modalities such as lifestyle changes, supplements, and physical medicine over higher-force interventions to prevent disease whenever possible.

How many appointments will this take?

Every patient is different, and every treatment plan is customized. After your first appointment, the doctor will go over the suggested number of visits required to get you back to optimal health.

What Techniques do you use?

Diversified and motion palpation.

Do you take X-Rays in your office?

If x-rays are required, patients will be referred to the nearest Health Images Center.
